Establishing Pu Tai Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High Schools

Education is the foundation of a country and the cornerstone of a prosperous society. To nurture future generations with both sound knowledge and upright moral values, the Grand Master devoted his efforts to establishing the Pu Tai boarding schools (grades 1-12). After six years of painstaking planning, Pu Tai Elementary School opened in August of 2004, whereas the Junior High School started to enroll its 7th grade students in the summer of 2006.　Online Video Watch

Pu Tai Senior High School opened in August of 2009, completing Pu Tai’s threefold integration of well-rounded elementary, middle, and high school education. Since 2004, students of Pu Tai have shown extraordinary results in many areas of learning and received support and approval from parents and the public alike.

In addition to the required subjects specified by the Board of Education, additional emphases are placed on the Chinese language and classics, four foreign languages: English, Japanese, French, and Spanish, meditation instruction, arts and crafts, and horticulture.

The school continues with Pu Tai’s threefold integration of well-rounded elementary, middle, and high school education; provides an excellent learning environment to produce accomplished and ethically responsible pillars of society.
